What is Uchie?
Uchie is a botanical beverage brand that makes sparkling seltzers infused with kratom leaf extract (Mitragyna speciosa) and kava root extract. The cans are alcohol-free and positioned as an alternative to alcohol, with fruit flavors over carbonated water. Uchie publishes a certificate of analysis for its batches and states that every batch is verified by independent, third-party laboratories. The brand is crafted in American facilities and operated out of Los Angeles, California.
The lineup splits by what is inside the can. The Kratom Kava Seltzer pairs 25mg of mitragynine with 100mg of kavalactones, blending kratom and kava in one drink. The Kratom Seltzer skips the kava and carries 50mg of mitragynine on its own. Both come in fruit flavors such as mango, guava, pineapple, and watermelon, and both are sold by the can.
