Odor stays contained
The Safe Case is lined with RYOT’s patented SmellSafe carbon technology. The activated-carbon padding traps and neutralizes odor, so what you store stays fresh and private inside the case. A weather-resistant antimicrobial microfiber hardshell wraps it in a tough outer layer. When the lining loses some punch, just tumble the case in a dryer for five minutes to reactivate the carbon.
Built to secure your gear
Inside, customizable padding and RYOT’s X-Strap system hold pipes and accessories of different shapes and sizes. A removable rolling tray with a carbon pad and a removable RYOT Fresh Pod add flexibility. The moisture-seal zipper locks with the included RYOT Lock, keeping contents secure and away from curious kids.

Questions & Answers
Does the carbon lining actually trap odors, or just mask them?
It traps them. The SmellSafe activated-carbon lining neutralizes and holds odors in the carbon pores rather than covering them with fragrance. A moisture-seal locking zipper and weather-resistant hardshell add a physical barrier so nothing seeps out around the edges.
How long does the activated carbon stay effective before it stops working?
The carbon does not wear out on a fixed timeline; it saturates gradually with use and can be refreshed. When you notice odor starting to escape, reactivate the lining so it keeps absorbing. With regular reactivation the SmellSafe carbon is designed to last the life of the case.
Can I recharge the carbon lining, and how do I do it?
Yes. Tumble the case in a clothes dryer for about 5 minutes, which drives out trapped odor molecules and reactivates the activated-carbon lining. No filters to buy or replace. Do this whenever containment weakens to restore the SmellSafe performance.
Is this case okay to travel with or bring through an airport?
It is built for travel, with a hardshell that protects contents in a bag and a locking zipper. Keep in mind a case controls odor but does not change local law, so confirm the rules of your destination and any layovers before you fly.
Can I wash it without ruining the smell-proof lining?
Do not submerge or machine-wash it. Wipe the weather-resistant antimicrobial exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap, and lift out the removable padding and rolling tray to clean those separately. Keeping the carbon lining dry preserves its odor-trapping ability.
What can I actually fit inside a case this size?
The 2.3 liter interior holds pipes, a grinder, papers, lighters, and small jars, with customizable padding and an X-Strap system to keep gear from shifting. It suits everyday carry and shorter travel rather than large glass water pieces, which fit the bigger models better.
How is the Small different from the larger RYOT Safe Cases?
This Small holds 2.3 liters, the most portable option in the Carbon Series and sized for pocket and daypack carry. The Large and other models offer more volume for bigger glass and full kits. All share the same SmellSafe carbon, locking zipper, and lifetime warranty.
Does the included lock make this child-resistant or just theft-deterrent?
It ships with a RYOT Lock that secures the moisture-seal zipper, adding privacy and a deterrent against casual access. Treat it as a lock for discretion and travel security rather than a certified child-resistant container, and store it out of reach of children.
Will it hold up to rain, moisture, or getting knocked around?
Yes. The antimicrobial microfiber hardshell is weather-resistant and the moisture-seal zipper blocks water intrusion, while the rigid shell shields fragile contents from crushing. At 408 grams it stays light enough for daily carry while protecting gear in a bag or backpack.
Is it discreet, or does it obviously look like a smoke case?
It reads as a plain padded hardshell organizer in understated Black or Olive, with no logos advertising its contents. The low-key exterior and secure zipper keep it discreet in a bag or on a shelf while the carbon lining handles odor inside.
