What is Xikar?
Xikar is an American cigar accessories company founded in 1996 by Kurt Van Keppel and Scott Almsberger, who started the brand in Kansas City, Missouri. They built their name on the Xi cutter and went on to make cigar lighters, hygrometers, humidification products, and cases. In January 2018 Xikar was acquired by Quality Importers Trading Co., and the brand has continued under that ownership.
