iBuddy is a Shenzhen, China based maker of heat-not-burn devices. Its flagship is the i1, a heated-tobacco device that warms a compatible tobacco stick instead of setting it alight, producing vapor without a flame.
The i1 uses a pin-style heating element and a built-in 1800mAh battery. It is designed to work with IQOS-format Heets tobacco sticks. The device counts puffs automatically and stops heating after 16 puffs on a single stick, signaling that it is time to load a fresh one.
