Fortuna is a Spanish cigarette brand first introduced in 1974 in Spain by Tabacalera. It launched as an affordable blonde cigarette at a time when black tobacco led the Spanish market.
Fortuna is made with a Virginia-type tobacco blend. The brand is now owned and manufactured by Altadis, a subsidiary of Imperial Tobacco. In 2013 it was the fourth best-selling cigarette brand in Spain, with more than 184 million packs sold that year.
