What is Coco Mazaya?
Coco Mazaya is a natural hookah charcoal made by CocoNara, the same maker behind the CocoNara coconut coal line. Each coal is a pressed cube of 100% natural charcoal made from coconut shell, sold as a quiet, clean-burning option for hookah bowls.
The cubes contain no sulphur and leave under 5% ash, and a coal burns up to about 60 minutes. The shape heats evenly across all six sides, and the charcoal is tasteless, so it does not push its own flavor into the shisha. It is a natural coal, not a quick-light, so it needs a heat source to bring it up to a red glow.

These are natural coals, light them fully first. Coco Mazaya needs a stovetop or electric coil burner, usually about 5 to 8 minutes, until every side glows red before it goes on the bowl. Keep coals on a heat-safe surface and away from anything that can catch. Hookah charcoal is an adults-only purchase, so bring a valid photo ID (21+), which our Hosts verify in store.
